Summer term in year 1

Welcome back year 1, we hope you had a lovely Easter holiday and that you are excited about all of the great activities we will be doing in the summer term!

Our theme for this term is 'Animals'.  We will be learning all about the Animal Kingdom in science lessons and making animal puppets in art, design and technology. In topic lessons we will be learning about the continents and oceans of the world. In religious education (RE) lessons we will be learning about Islam. Plus lots more ..... Our Knowledge Organisers for this term can be found below, please read them and complete the quiz.

This is Ishaq's bean - you can see it's already over 5cm tall - Don't forget to send in your photos to TEAMs.

You can contact your class teacher at homework_y1@ryvers.slough.sch.uk  if you have a question or would like to share one or two of your learning activities with us or just to say hello! Please include your name and class in the subject line.

If your child has to self-isolate you can find lesson information on TEAMS. If you are having any problems with online TEAMS lessons please email: remote_learning@ryvers.slough.sch.uk

TEAMS logins are in the front of your child's blue home reading diary
