Educational Experiences for 2024-2025

We are thrilled to be able to provide a wide range of educational experiences across all phases.

Here are just a few of the fantastic learning opportunities planned for the year ahead:

  • Visit to Langley Langley for story telling and a browse of their facilities
  • Langley Free Church workshops linked to Christian festivals
  • Visits or workshops linked to places of worships including visiting a local Mosque (Yr5) and Hindu temple (Yr6) and a workshop to learn all about the Jewish faith led by Judaism 4 Schools (Yr4). Every year group has an experience linked to the RE curriculum, so by the time children leave us in Yr6, they would have had a chance to visit or engage in learning from each of the major faith groups.
  • Farm visits (EYFS)
  • Talks led by police officers, fire officers and health professionals
  • Visiting places linking to topics: Beckonscot Model Village - Yr1, Windsor Castle - Y2, Panto at Windsor Theatre - Year 3, Hampton Court Palace - Year 4, Chiltern Open Air Museum - Year 5 and Residential - Year 6. Just to name a few!
  • Each year group also plans a fun-filled immersive day of learning though a 'theme day'. Children learn and use there knowledge to complete tasks about periods of history such a Ancient Greeks, Ancient Egyptian, Roman rule and the Victorian era.

We have been able to keep PAID experiences to a maximum of 2, and all other experiences are either free or funded by the school. We are proud to be able to offer our pupils such a broad range of experiences which develop knowledge, skill, cultural capital and a thirst for learning.

We review our educational experiences each year based on feedback and outcomes.
