Secondary School Transfers for Year 6 children.

An application for a secondary school must be made when your child starts Year 6. SBC expect all applications to be completed online and the portal opens early September 2023 and closes on 31 October 2023.  Any application made after this date will be classed as late and will only be processed after once timely applications have been dealt with. In this case, it could be extremely unlikely that your child will be allocated a school of your choice.

You must only apply through SBC if you are a SBC resident. Please visit the SBC Admissions for further information.

If you are not a resident of Slough Borough Council you will need to apply through your Home Authority. You will still be able to apply for Slough Borough Council schools through your home Authority.

Although a number of our children go on to attend Grammar schools, Ryvers School does not tutor children for the 11+ tests. Please check the websites of any of the Slough grammar Schools for information about how to apply or visit Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools Admissions Portal. Tests take place in September and results are posted prior to the closing date for CAF submission.

Please read the information given below which gives details of our admission arrangements for the school and also our prospectus. For any admissions queries please contact us on: admissions@ryvers.slough.sch.uk
