In our school, all Year 6 pupils are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills through our class prefect system. Each pupil takes on the role of a prefect on a rotational basis throughout the three terms of the academic year.

As prefects, pupils are assigned to a class across the school, where they support the class teacher in various ways. Their responsibilities include assisting with administrative tasks, preparing learning resources, and providing general support as needed. This role helps pupils build responsibility, teamwork, and organizational skills while fostering a sense of community and leadership.

The rotational system ensures that every pupil has the chance to contribute and benefit from this valuable experience, creating a fair and inclusive approach to leadership development.
