The Structure of the Governing Body

 

The Governing Body of Ryvers School is made up of:

5 Parent Governors,

6 Community Governors, and

2 Staff Governors and the Executive Headteacher.

 

Plus 1 Associate Governor and a Company Secretary who do not have voting rights.

The Governing Body has a Clerk who takes the minutes of all Full Governing Body and Committee meetings, and is a point of contact in the school for governors.

 

The core committees are:

The Curriculum Committee

The Welfare Committee

The Finance,  Audit & Risk and Facilities Committee

The Personnel Committee

The Pay Committee,

and

The Full Governing Body

 

Individual Governors also report to the Governing Body regarding Safeguarding, Development & Training, Health & Safety, Trips and Visits and Website Compliance.
